Rachel M. Gager
Rachel M. Gager, 86, former long time resident of the Berryton area, died Thursday, Nov. 15, 2007 at Rolling Hills in Topeka. She was born June 19, 1921 in Topeka, the daughter of Charles and Laura Jacobus Williams.
Rachel married Ralph Herman Gager on July 25, 1938 in Topeka. He preceded her in death. Survivors include her daughter, Carol Bainum of Topeka; three sons, Harold Gager of ElDorado, Richard Gager of Prairie Grove, AR, and Raymond Gager of Paxico; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday at Carbondale Cemetery. Newcomer Family Funeral Home is assisting the family.
