Ralph D. Anderson, 71, of Auburn, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2020.
He was born September 9, 1948, in Randolph, Kansas, the son of Otis Adelbert and Florence Maxine (Heath) Anderson. He graduated from Waterville High School and later went on to attend Barber College.
Ralph served in The United States Army National Guard. He worked as a Barber for 51 years. He owned and operated Shearpoint Hairstylers and later worked at The Hair Mill prior to retiring in 2019.
Ralph was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church of Topeka and was a local Shriner.
Ralph married the love of his life, Susan Stohs on June 27, 1971 in Bremen, Kansas. They spent 48 years creating a lifetime of memories.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Anderson; two daughters, Samantha (Nicholas) Decker of Littleton, CO and Kristina (Michael) Helmer of Eldorado, KS; four grandchildren, Anderson Helmer, Taylor Decker, Morgan Decker and Carson Helmer; five sisters, Hazel Worthington, Ruth Neal, Maxine Plegge, Marline Rowland, Gayle Link and a brother, Jim Anderson. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Richard Dean Anderson.
Ralph enjoyed anything outdoors. Most of all fishing and playing a round of golf. He especially enjoyed K-State sports.
Honoring Ralph's request, cremation is planned. The family will greet friends Friday, June 5, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka. A private family memorial will be held Sunday, June 7, 2020.
