Ralph N. Keener, 71, Topeka, died February 25, 2004 at the VA Hospital.
He was born November 3, 1932 in Wakefield, Kansas, the son of Lee and Augusta Bregan Keener.
He graduated from Clay Center High School in 1950. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1950 to 1954 before being employed by the Kansas National Guard. He was a member of Parents Without Partners and the Philip Billard VFW Post 1650.
Survivors include three sons, Ralph Keener, Topeka; Dale Keener, Loveland, Colorado and Daniel Keener, Morrison, Colorado; four grandchildren, one brother and one sister.
He was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
Graveside services and interment will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, March 1, 2004 at Emmanuel Cemetery, 53rd and Ratner Road.
