Ramona O. Dewitt

Ramona O. DeWitt, 54, of Topeka, died Saturday, January 7, 2012 at her home. She was born April 21, 1957 in Zweibrucken, Germany, the daughter of James and Gerda (Bode) Ray.
Ramona was raised in Topeka and attended Highland Park and Topeka High School. She was employed by Jostens Publications and Scotch Dry Cleaners in Topeka. Ramona married Tom DeWitt in February, 1975 in Topeka. He survives. She is also survived by her sons, Jason and Aaron DeWitt; her father, James Ray Sr.; brothers, Michael Ertel, James Ray Jr.; sisters, Gabriele and Tammy Ray. She was preceded in death by her mother.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 12th at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, 4020 SW 6th Ave. Topeka, KS 66606. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Heartland Division, 1315 SW Arrowhead Rd. Topeka, KS 66604.
