Randy Earl Stone

Randy Earl Stone, 58, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Midland Care. He was born September 30, 1956, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Ervin and Barbara (Boggs) Stone. Randy was raised by Wallace and Sara Morgan as if he was their own son, and always considered them his parents.

Randy served two tours in the U.S. Army, and he was employed by K-Mart as a manager for 19 years. He later owned the Down Under Lounge (formerly Mickey's Landing), and R&M Lawn Service in Topeka.

Randy married JoAnne Sipp on July 18, 1981 in Topeka. She survives of the home. He is also survived by a son, Matthew James Stone; sister, Donna Barber; brother, David Stone; and granddaughters, Abigail and Caelynn Stone. His granddaughters were his driving force for living. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Randy was cremated. A memorial ceremony will be held at 10:00 a.m.., Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Mount Hope Chapel, 4700 SW 17th St., Topeka, Kansas 66604. A visitation will be held immediately following the service. Private family interment will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
