Randy Gene Kaufman

Randy Gene Kaufman, 66, of Tecumseh, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 as a result of a pulmonary embolism. He was born May 4, 1954 in Topeka, the son of Robert Morrison and Betty Jean (Peckham) Kaufman.
Randy graduated from Seaman High School in 1972 and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and an Associate's Degree in Computer Science from Washburn University. He was employed by Capitol Federal Savings for 38 years. Randy was a member of Highland Heights Christian Church where he served as an Elder. He was very active in Promise Keepers Men's Ministries, Youth Correctional Ministries, and missions work.
Randy married Elmarie Kay Little on January 22, 1983 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include James Robert Kaufman of Topeka, Andrew Thomas (Rheanna) Kaufman of Rossville, Daniel Christopher (April) Kaufman of Topeka, six grandchildren, Peyton, Haidyn, McKenna, Noah, Brayden and Charlie.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 29, 2021, at Highland Heights Christian Church, 2930 SE Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh, Kansas 66542. Burial will follow in Rochester Cemetery. Randy will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Thursday, January 28, 2021 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. Masks and social distancing must be observed.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Highland Heights Christian Church or to Hillsdale College, Attn: Institutional Advancement, 33 E. College St., Hillsdale, Michigan 49242 or to Kansans for Life, 3301 W. 13th St. N, Wichita, Kansas 67203.
