Ray A. Wallace

Ray A. Wallace, 58, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, May 12, 2008 at his home. He was born on February 25, 1950 in Topeka, the son of Raymond A. and Annie Gross Wallace. He graduated from Monta Vista High School in Whittier, CA. Ray had resided in Memphis, TN for several years before returning to Topeka in 1978. Survivors include one son, Christopher Ray Wallace of Topeka, his mother and step-father, Annie and Jack Longberg of Topeka , one sister, Laura Davidson and husband, Glenn of Lexington, MO., two nephews, one great-niece, one great-nephew and several cousins. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Hoyt Cemetery. Burial will follow. Ray will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 2:00-3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Newcomer-Family Funeral Home.
