Raymond Gutierrez (84) of Topeka, went to be with the Lord on Nov., 26, 2020. He was born June 16, 1936, the son of Pablo and Refugia (Davalos) Gutierrez.
He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend and will be greatly missed.
Raymond Gutierrez married Edna Hernandez on May 18, 1990, over 30 years of great marriage. She survives. Other survivors include

Raymond graduated from Hayden High School and attended Washburn University for three years.
Raymond served in the U.S. Navy as a courts-martial reporter and as a private secretary from July 1954 to September 1975. He served during the Korean and Vietnam Wars and received six Good Conduct medals, the National Defense service medal, the joint service commendation, and the Navy Achievement medal. He retired from the US Navy in September 1975 with the rate of Chief Yeoman. After retirement, he was employed as a medical secretary at the Colmery-O'Neil veterans Administration Medical Center, the US Post Office as a distribution Clerk, and the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway company as an accounting clerk from where he retired in July 1998.
