Ray E. Robins, Jr. 63, Topeka, passed away Monday, July 22, 2019 at a local hospital.
Ray was born September 19, 1955 in Advance, MO, the son of Ray E. and Anna (Williams) Robins, Sr. He attended school in Florida and California and graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a degree in Horticulture.
He served in the U.S. Navy for 14 years.
He retired from the Colmery-O'Neil V.A. Medical Center.
He was an active member of Maranatha Baptist Fellowship.
Ray married Cynthia "Cindy" Smith on May 16, 1998 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include sons, Alan (Melisa) Smith, Adam (Amber) Smith, all of Topeka; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Penny Robins, Jeanne Robins-Kozuszek, Richard Robins, Pamela Adams, and Tammy Easton. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Maranatha Baptist Fellowship. Private family inurnment will be in the Fouts Cemetery near Ottawa.
