Raymond Owen Donham, 69, cherished husband, loving father and endearing grandfather passed away Monday, November 11, 2013 after a three year long battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis.
Ray, who hailed from Vincennes, Indiana, received his Master's Degree in Education from Murray State University in Murray, Kentucky. Ray traveled the world for 20 ½ years proudly serving his country in the U.S. Army. He later was employed as a teacher for several years. He was a devout member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church where he served as an Elder.
Ray is survived by his wife of 45 years Jackie, his daughters, Kathryn (Mike) Gonzales and Carolyn (Dan) Bowman, seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Cremation will follow the service and private inurnment will take place at a later date.
