Raymonde Foliot

Raymonde Foliot, 92, Topeka, died Monday, July 4, 2016 at home. She was born in Riorges, France on November 26, 1923, the daughter of Albert and Marie Marceline (Buisson) Lathuilliere. Raymonde married Rene Foliot on September 27, 1947 in Riorges, France. They had one child, a daughter, Josette Foliot Duncan who passed away on June 18, 2010.

Raymonde attended boarding school in France. Raymonde and her husband lived in Canada, New York and San Diego, California. They had moved back to France a few times during the years before retiring in Topeka.

Raymonde was a Homemaker, Livestock Farmer and Gardener. She had a strong fondness of farm animals and really enjoyed gardening. She had a strong love of cats. In her lifetime she had adopted numerous cats.

She is survived by her granddaughter, Darlene Duncan (David Campbell); grandsons, Claude (Rosalie) Duncan, Jeffrey (Leslie) Duncan; great-granddaughter Rachel Thornburgh; great-great granddaughter, Carmen Alston; and son-in-law, Gary Duncan, all of Topeka. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter and parents.
