Rebecca "Becky" Boyer, 93, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, the daughter of Reva Atkinson.
Becky owned and operated her own day care in Chicago for many years.
Becky married Alexander Pantos. She later married Howard Boyer. They both preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Jean Wheeler.
Survivors include five children, Lettie Pantos Karlson of Topeka, Stephen Pantos of Topeka, C. Alexander (Marlene) Pantos of Tecumseh, Cynthia Pantos of Chicago, and Tina Boyer (Steve) Sarno of Itasca, Illinois, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Becky's Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Heartland Sertoma Club, 11198 South Lakeview Rd., Carbondale, Kansas 66414 or to the YWCA Center for Safety and Empowerment, 225 SW 12th St., Topeka, Kansas 66612.
