Reta L. Britt

Reta L. Britt, 84, of Topeka, formerly of Junction City, KS passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at her home. She was born on November 16, 1925 in San Diego, CA, to Ralph F. and Marie L. Leyva Carrier. Reta married Woodrow W. Rainwater. They were blessed with six children, Kenneth J. Rainwater, Reta L. Rainwater, Robert A. Rainwater, Nancy M. (Rainwater) Adair, Roger D. Rainwater and David N. Rainwater. Woodrow preceded her in death in 1968. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Kenneth, Robert and David whom died in infancy, four brothers and one sister. Reta married Charles R. Britt, Jr. To this union was born one son, Charles R. Britt, III. They survive. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery at Fort Riley, 5181 Wildcat Creek Rd., Manhattan, KS., 66503.
