Reverend Stanley R. Redmon, 58, of Topeka, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013 at his home.
He was born December 1, 1954, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Jessie and Ada (Wynne) Redmon.
Stanley was employed by the Community First Inc., for 7 years.
Rev. Redmon was a member of the Faith Temple, of Topeka.
Stanley married Brenda J. Redmon on August 24, 2002 in Topeka. Survivors include a wife, Brenda J. Redmon, Topeka; two sons, Johan (Stephanie) Freeland, ShelbyN.C. and Michael Freeland, Lawrence, KS; and 7 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Stanley enjoyed studying the bible.
A funeral service will be 11 a.m., Monday, November 4, 2013 at the Faith Temple, 1162 Lincoln Street, Topeka. Interment will follow at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, Topeka. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made to Stanley R. Redmon Memorial Fund, sent in care of CoreFirst Bank.
