Ricardo A. Spivey

Ricardo A. "Ricky" Spivey, 65, of Topeka, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, September 28, 2022 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. He was born May 1, 1957 in Topeka, the son of Artis L. and Elease E. (Washington) Spivey.

Ricardo was a member of St. Luke Missionary Baptist Church.

Ricardo married Carlotta Luster. They later divorced.

Survivors include children, Aundrey Wallace of Topeka, Ricky Spivey of Topeka, Sandra Metcalf of Kansas City, Jada Luster of Kansas City, Chad Yeargin of Kentucky, Charlena Henderson of Wichita, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his siblings, Wanda Mack of Topeka, Brenda Beaver-Kirtdoll of Topeka, Eddie Prudhomme of Louisiana, Linda Spivey of Topeka and Ramona Mosby of Topeka.

Ricardo was preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Delores Hubbard, Evelyn "Marie" Singleton and Artis Spivey, Jr.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2022 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
