Richard "Ricky" Bowen, 53, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. He was born January 26, 1970 in South Bend, Indiana, the son of Richard and Cheryl Ann (McNeely) Bowen.
Ricky graduated from Topeka High School. He was employed by TARC Industries since 1991 and worked various jobs.
Ricky's love for his family, sense of humor, joyful personality, Kansas City Chiefs and Elvis will be forever remembered by all that loved and knew him which include his father, Richard Bowen, his half-brother, Francis Smith, step-father, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
Ricky was preceded in death by his mother and his brother, Kenny Bowen.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to TARC Industries, 2701 SW Randolph Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66611.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
