Richard A. Cody

Richard A. Cody, 75, of Overbrook, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2023. He was born March 5, 1947 in Holton, the son of Jack and Mickie (Migchelbrink) Cody.
Richard graduated from Topeka High School in 1965. He was a Navy Veteran during the Vietnam War. He was employed by Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company for 41 years before retiring.
Richard married Sue Oyler in August 1994. She survives. Other survivors include children, Christina K. Hunt, Tracy Cody Redding and Anna L. Oyler, three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and his two brothers, Ronald Cody and Michael Cody.
A private Celebration of Richard's Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Lung Association, 4300 Drury Lane, Topeka, Kansas 66604 or to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
