Richard Deuser

Richard Deuser, 79, of Topeka passed away on August 6, 2017 at Homestead of Topeka, surrounded by his family.
Born January 12, 1938, in St. Louis, Missouri, he was the first child of Richard and Rose Deuser.
He married Dianne (Riddick) on September 9, 1967.
Richard worked at Nooter Corporation for 44 years; retiring in 2000.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved gardening, woodworking and playing with his grandchildren. Richard was a member of St. Andrews Presbyterian church.
Richard was preceded in death by his son, Ronald Deuser. He is survived by his wife, two sons; Tim Deuser and Patrick (Cheryl) Deuser, three grandchildren; Tom (Jessica), Pam and David Deuser and four great-grandsons; Alex, Jacob, Aaron and Christian, his sister, MaryAnne Brandt, his brother, Danny (Sandy) Deuser and nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 12, 2017 at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church 1821 SW 37th, Topeka, Kansas. The family will greet friends an hour prior to the service. Private graveside service will follow at a later date at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery, 3616 SW 6th, Topeka.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church or the charity of donor's choice.
