Richard L. Wiley, 74, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, January 7, 2018.
He was born October 26, 1943, in Lawrence, Kansas, the son of Clarence and Gladys (Seaner) Wiley. He was a 1962 graduate of Tonganoxie High School and served in the United States Air Force from 1962-1966. Richard worked for TWA & American Airlines for 40 years, retiring on November 1, 2008.
Richard married Vicki M. Kania on July 13, 1997, in Leavenworth, Kansas. She survives.
Other survivors include children, Paul Wiley, Joseph Wiley, Anne Wiley, and Dawn Tompkins; six grandchildren; siblings, Shirley (Bill) Bryant, Joyce Pickel, Mary Amodo, Hazel Boggs, and David Wiley.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial ceremony will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at Topeka First Assembly of God, 500 SW 27th Street, Topeka, Kansas 66611. Interment of the cremated remains will be at Leavenworth National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Midland Care.
