Richard R. Riley, Jr.

Richard R. Riley, Jr., 58, of Topeka, went to be with his Lord on Monday, March 27, 2023. He was born October 8, 1964 in Butler, Missouri, the son of Richard Raymond and Mae Depression (Potts) Riley, Sr.
Richard graduated from Butler High School in Butler, Missouri. He was employed by Kansas Van & Storage for many years. He was a member of True Light Baptist Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Alayna Riley of Topeka, step-children, Natasha Llamas Houston of Nebraska, Clifton Jones of Topeka, many grandchildren and his siblings, James Wesley Potts of Butler, Missouri, Georgetta Mae Potts of Topeka and a host of extended family and friends.
Richard was preceded in death by one son, Trenton Riley and his life partner, Esperanza Llamas.
A Celebration of Richard's Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2023 at True Light Baptist Church, 2046 SE California Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66607. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
