Richard "Dick" Rosenbaum, 75, of Topeka, passed away, Monday, October 22, 2007.
He was born January 24, 1932 in Chippewa Falls, WI the son of Henry A. and Helen (Larson) Rosenbaum.
Mr. Rosenbaum was a military veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of Capitol Post #1, American Legion.
Dick was employed as a Lab Technician 32 years at DuPont.
He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church and had served as Scout Leader for Troop #76, Boy Scouts of America.
He married Charlotte Garner September 11, 1951 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include 3 children, Debra, Stan and Chuck Rosenbaum; 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Dick will lie in state after 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel where the family will greet friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. that evening. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, 10-27-2007 at Hope Lutheran Church followed by burial at Topeka Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Hope Lutheran Church, 2636 S.E.
