Richard Womack

Richard Dale Womack, 72, of Topeka, Kansas passed away September 5, 2016. He was born February 9, 1944, at St. John, Kansas, the son of Willie and Georgia Anna (Hartsel) Womack.
He graduated from St. John High School and served his country in the US Navy. He worked at Goodyear Tire & Rubber retiring after 39 years in 2006. Richard was united in marriage on May 22, 2003 to Faye F. Nocktonick at McKinney, TX.
He was a member of the American Legion Post 400, a member of the Steelworkers Union, and the #1 KU fan!
Survivors include his loving wife, Faye Womack; his sons: Richard Womack (Zina) and Todd Womack (Tonya); his daughters: Michelle Terrel, Kim Geels (Gerald), and Angela Lawrence; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; and three sisters. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
Visitation with the family will be held Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 2-4PM at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service, 4020 SW 6th Ave. Topeka. Private inurnment will be in Half-Day Cemetery.
