Rita D. Skaggs, 85, of Scranton, passed away Friday, May 6, 2016.
She was born November 11, 1930, in Henry Co., Missouri, the daughter of Harold and Audrey (Parks) Davis.
Rita was employed by the Holiday Inn in Lawrence for many years until her retirement.
Rita married Robert E. Skaggs on December 12, 1949, in Harrison, Arkansas. He survives.
Other survivors include son, Robert E. Skaggs, II; brother, Ronald Davis; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lana Bradbury.
Rita was cremated and at her request, no services will be held. Dove Cremation & Funeral Service is assisting the family.
