Rita M. Freeman, 82, of Topeka, KS passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 at a local care facility.
She was born on June 6, 1935 in Fort Wayne, IN.
She married Gary Freeman. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a sister.
She is survived by four children; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; and three sisters.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at First Southern Baptist Church, 1912 SW Gage. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Private inurnment will take place at Mount Hope Cemetery & Mausoleum.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society.
