R.O. Brown

November 21, 1935 — February 15, 2022

11/21/1935 - 02/15/2022, that's 31,498 days. 86 years, 2 months, and 25 days to be exact that Richard Orville, R.O. "Brownie" Brown packed a lot of life into. He passed peacefully into the hands of GOD at home just before 5 AM.

He is survived by his wife, Wilma, of 56 years and their children: Bret Sullivan (Vickie); Rocky Sullivan (Karen); Tammy Brown; Richard Brown (Veronica); Travis Brown; Troy Brown (Karey); Jeffrey Brown (Sarah); and Kevin Brown. They have 17 grandchildren: Joe, Dustin, Trent, Melissa, Josh, Jessica, Kalee, Rich, Daniel, Corey, Courtney, Cody, Dalton, Cassidy, Skylar, Connor, Alyssa, and 16 great-grandchildren.

R.O. "Brownie" was a college student into his 70s and had planned to lecture next week. He had a lot of knowledge and was gracious enough to share. A certified arborist, former board member, and president of many, many boards, and master gardener. His list of accomplishments is very long. He was also known to be very ornery. There was always laughter in the presence of Brownie. He passed his sense of humor onto his kids and grandkids as the nurses could attest to. We were shocked that they didn't kick us out.

Brownie imparted wisdom and humor onto many through Browns Tree Service over the years and only recently stopped coming to work every day. He could be found on job sites, sharing wisdom, and cutting up with the clients and crew.

In his final days, his wife many friends, grandkids, and kids were by his side laughing, telling stories, and sharing memories. We can only imagine what kind of jokes he's telling in Heaven right about now.
