Robert A. Drotts
Robert A. Drotts, 71, died at his home Tuesday, December 7, 2010. Robert was born August 17, 1939 in Topeka. A graduate of Hayden High School, he served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Perkins. He worked for the Santa Fe Railroad for 24 years as a journeyman electrician in Newton, KS and as a diesel electrician while in Topeka.
He is survived by his wife; Pamela, daughters; Deborah Drotts and Barbara Ross, aunt; Rosalie Sacks, and two grandchildren.
Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and nephew, as well as a master gardener, photographer, and horseman.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ted Ensley Gardens at Lake Shawnee, 3137 SE 29th St., Topeka, KS 66605.
