Robert E. "Bobby" Arbuthnot, 62, Topeka, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2009.
Bobby was born October 10, 1946 in Topeka to Robert and Norma (Morgan) Arbuthnot. He was raised by his step-father and mother, Alvin and Norma Holmes. He is survived by his mother and 5 brothers, Bruce (Sue), Stephen and Michael Arbuthnot, Alvin (Paula) and Glen Holmes; step sister, Nancy (Jim) Rose and step-brother, Gary Holmes; several nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father and step-father.
He had been employed as a Security Guard by Western Security for many years until he became disabled.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at Dove Funeral Home.
