Robert M. "Bob" Arnone, 81, Topeka, passed away Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Aldersgate Village.
Bob was born December 11, 1935 in Trenton, MO, the son of Anthony and Gertrude (Davis) Arnone. He graduated from Manhattan High School and Kansas State University with a degree in Architecture.
He was an Architect with Ekdahl, Davis & Depew; Kiene & Bradley Architects and Engineers; and Southwestern Bell. He was Project Architect for many projects including Stormont-Vail Hospital expansion, the Kansas State Supreme Court Building, the Topeka Blood Bank and projects for the Neodesha School District.
He enjoyed traveling, anything K-State, dancing and working in his yard and shop. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
Bob married the love of his life, Marilyn Kulp on June 26, 1955 in Manhattan. His wife of 62 years survives. Other survivors include their daughters, Lisa (Jay Wojciechowski) French, Denver, Linda (Kent) Armstrong, Olathe, Laura (Mike) Arnone-Lord, Willard; grandchildren, Cara (Casey) Thomas, Brett French, David (Mirjana) Armstrong, Lindsay (Chi) Agbalokwu, Rachel Lord; and great-grandchildren, Mason, Porter and Stella Thomas.
Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road. A reception will follow at the funeral home.
