Robert B. "Bob" Elliott, 91, retired farmer, Goodyear quality control employee, and owner of Elliott Landscape Business, died peacefully in his home, Sunday, April 29, 2007. A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 A.M., Saturday, May 5, Penwell-Gabel Chapel, 3700 Wanamaker Road, Topeka, KS. Bob was born October 27, 1915 in the town of Seneca, Kansas to the late Earl and Gertrude Elliott. He attended Bushey Slope Grade School and graduated from Wetmore High School. He attended business college in Austin, Texas, and following the death of his father, he came home to manage the family farm. He married Margaret Bales, a teacher, in 1939. Preceding him in death were his wife, Margaret, sister, Jean, and son-in-law, Larry Withers. Survivors: daughters, Bev Leuenberger and Ginger Withers; grandchildren, Jonas Leuenberger, Jeff and John Withers, Jena Block and her husband, Ed; great-grandchildren, Kale, Mia, Zach and Phoenix.
