Robert C Dillard, 84, passed away Sun, June 8, 2014. Bob was born Jan 20, 1930 in Sedalia, MO; the son of Elmer and Lucille (Paxton) Dillard. He graduated from Smith- Cotton High in 1948.
Bob proudly served in the US Navy aboard the USS Randall during WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was a Regional Sales Manager at Keebler for 23 years.
On June 11, 1955 Bob married Shirley Twenter. Bob was a member of Lake Shawnee Golf Course and enjoyed golfing, fishing, and hunting.
Survivors include Matt (Ellen) Dillard, Mark (Kim) Dillard; sister Bette Belle Edwards; grandchildren Ellie, Mandy, April, and Conner; and six great grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, wife Shirley, son Michael, and granddaughter Cassie Ann.
A memorial celebration will be from 9-11 am on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Avenue, Topeka, KS. Burial will follow at 3:30pm at Crown Hill Cemetery in Sedalia, MO.
Memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands Humane Society.
