Robert V. "Bob" Cain, 91, of Topeka, passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. He was born June 30, 1928 in Jefferson City, Missouri.
Bob and his wife, Bev owned and operated Highland Park Cleaners for many years before retiring in 1993. He was a member of the Highland Park Optimist Club.
Bob married Beverly A. "Bev" Craft on April 18, 1953 in Blue Rapids, Kansas. She preceded him in death on December 28, 2016. She was also preceded in death by one son, Thomas L. Cain on May 2, 2013.
Survivors include one son, Harry Cain of Leavenworth, Kansas, daughter-in-law, Terri Cain of Topeka, three grandchildren, Preston, Rylee and Ryan.
As per Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place and no memorial services are planned. Private inurnment will take place in Fairmont Cemetery, Blue Rapids, Kansas at a later date.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family.
