Robert Charles Tracy, 84, Topeka, passed away December 2, 2009 at Topeka Health Care Center.
Robert was born October 5, 1925 in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Inez and Robert Tracy, Sr. He attended school in Bartlesville, Oklahoma and graduated from the High School.
He worked for the Burlington Railroad for 13 years. After he retired from the railroad, he moved to Topeka. He joined the True Vine Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend Joseph Clark and was a faithful member until he became disabled.
He lived at eh Topeka Community Health Care Center for approximately 15 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father. He leaves to cherish and mourn his memory one sister, JoAnn (Kerry) Williams, Topeka; two nieces; two nephews; 13 great nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
We will miss his loving smile and gentle ways.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 10, 2009 at the Topeka Cemetery Garden Chapel.
