Robert D. Clatterbuck

Robert "Bob" D. Clatterbuck, 89, of Topeka, passed away June 29, 2014. He was born August 17, 1924 to Douglas Lewis and Altha Emma (Tennyson) Clatterbuck at Jefferson City, MO. Bob attended and graduated from Central High School in Kansas City, Kansas and joined the Navy in 1941,serving in WWII. He married Margaret Jean Boyd in Topeka, Kansas. They later divorced.
Bob made his career selling mobile homes. He was an avid hunter and loved puzzles and history especially about the world wars.
Bob is survived by his children, Vickie Wessel and Randy Clatterbuck (Angie) both of Topeka, and his step-son, Mike Ward, Topeka; grandchildren, Sarah Drexler (Kenny) and Jason Flickinger; great-grandchildren, Mason Flickinger, Neveah and Konner Drexler; and Vickie and Randy's mother, Margaret J. Boyd.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Steven D. Clatterbuck and his siblings, Betty Root and Gene Clatterbuck.
A graveside memorial service will be held Monday, July 7, 2014 at Penwell-Gabel Cemetery at 10:00 a.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Hospice 3715 SW 29th St., Ste. 100 Topeka, Kansas 66614
The family would like to thank McCrite Plaza and Grace Hospice for their dedicated care and outstanding services provided.
