Robert D. "Bob" Delzeit, 61, Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2009.
Bob was born May 18, 1948 in Topeka the son of Gallus and Frances (Cook) Delzeit. He graduated from Topeka West High School in 1966, and served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
He worked for Josten's in Topeka, retiring in 2004.
Survivors include brother, Donald Tussel, Hopatcong, NJ; sisters, Patricia (George) Mason, Essexville, MI, Norma Broxterman, Topeka; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. Bob will lie in state at the funeral home after 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday and visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
