Robert Fairchild, Jr.
Robert J. Fairchild, Jr., 60, Topeka, passed away at his home on Monday, March 14, 2005 after a brief illness.
Mr. Fairchild was born August 10, 1944 in Topeka, the son of Robert J. and Dorothy D. Schwalie Fairchild Sr.
He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1964 and served as a Green Beret during the Vietnam conflict. He was a self employed brick mason.
He was married to Patricia Ann Campbell. She preceded him in death. Survivors include his parents of Topeka, two brothers; Douglas Fairchild, Wakarusa; Christopher Fairchild, Kansas City, MO; two sisters; Gloria Wilson and Cynthia Pinkley, both of Topeka and his fiancee, Mary Ann Kester, Topeka.
A Memorial Service will be held at Newcomer Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 23, 2005 at 11:00 A.M.
