Robert Joseph "Bob" Conus, 68, passed on November 25, 2015. He was born April 26, 1947 to Joseph Ellis and Margaret Frances (Plackett) Conus.
He is survived by brothers Thom, Terry and Howard; his sister Mary Ann Asbury; four nieces and three nephews.
Bob was a highly decorated Vietnam veteran and former VFW Post 1650 Commander. As with so many American war heroes, Bob gave his life for his country, but valiantly struggled with his wartime wounds for over 47 years before passing.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, December 12, 2015 at 1PM at Gage Park Baptist Church, 3601 SW 10th Street.
