Robert J. Kenney, 58, of Plano, Texas, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at a Topeka hospital. He was born November 26, 1959 in Arkansas City, Kansas, the son of James R. and Paula M. (Love) Kenney.
Robert graduated from Emporia High School. He managed Verified Response in Plano, Texas. He was a member of Prestonwood North Campus Church, Team Texas and various other organizations.
Robert married Krystal Dunn on January 12, 2018 in Kona, Hawaii. She survives. Other survivors include nine children, Robert Kenney, Brandi Kenney, Christopher (Ryan) Szamosszegi, Rebecca Kenney, Lillian Parker, Kole Kenney, Christian Kenney, Wyatt Kenney and Karson Kenney, five grandchildren, his mother, Paula M. Wheeler of Emporia, two sisters, Julie Paige of Kansas City, Missouri, Suzann (Jeff) Biggs of Topeka and numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly.
A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 7, 2018 at Prestonwood Baptist Church North, 1001 Prosper Trail, Prosper, Texas, 75078. The family will greet following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Team Texas, P.O. Box 110466, Carrollton, Texas 75011.
Dove Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd. assisted the family.
