Robert L. Mcquiston

Robert L. McQuiston, 74, of Topeka, died Thursday, September 2, 2004 at Midland Hospice House. He was born October 24, 1929 in Berryton, the son of Frank H. and Lena Keeton McQuiston. He graduated from Berryton High School. He was an Army veteran. He was employed by the Santa Fe Railroad until his retirement. He was a member of the Santa Fe Oldtimers Club and a greeter for Stormont Vail Hospital. Survivors include his sister, Beulah Meens of Berryton, Ks.and two nepehws; Jerry and Gregg Meens both of Topeka. Services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Burial will follow in Lynn Creek Cemetery southeast of Topeka. Mr. McQuiston will lie in state after 8:00 a.m. Tuesday until service time.
