Robert Leon Waters

Robert Leon Waters, 79, Auburn, KS, passed away February 17, 2013. He was born May 20, 1933, in Stockton, KS, the son of George and Myrtle Hunt Waters. On June 5, 1960, in Auburn, Robert married Carolyn Parks Waters. She preceded him in death along with his parents and his brother, Harold. Robert was a resident at Aldersgate Village in Topeka and was thankful for the care and good humor of the nurses. He served in the United States Army, was a member of the Auburn Christian Church, and drove a truck for many years.

Robert is survived by daughters, Kim Palcic, Laura Steenbock, Lesley Boyett, and Karen Pearson; grandchildren, Grace Palcic, Sophia Palcic, Mallory Hart, Ashlie Boyett, Chelsie Boyett, Morgan Boyett, Maya Boyett, and Regina Pearson; great grandson, Jude Hart; and brother, George Waters.

A memorial ceremony will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 21, 2013, at Auburn Christian Church, 1351 N. Washington, Auburn, KS. Private inurnment will be in Auburn Cemetery.
