January 18, 1965 — March 14, 2019

Robert Wayne "Rob" McManus, 54, of Berryton, passed away on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at a Topeka hospital. He was born January 18, 1965 in Topeka, the son of Billy D. and Sherry L. (Mercer) Link.

Rob graduated from Royal Valley High School in 1983 and attended the University of Kansas and Washburn University and Washburn Tech. He was employed by Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company. He was a member of United Steel Workers Local Union No. 307. He enjoyed fishing and participated in the Catfish Chasers Tournament Series.

Rob married Sandra L. Fenton on April 16, 1988 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include their children; Victoria Leigh McManus and Kassandra Lynn McManus both of Berryton, parents; Billy D. (Sonja) Link of Topeka and Sherry L. (Larry) Kautz of Topeka, his brother; Darren D. McManus of Topeka, half-sister; Yvonne Ulmer of Raleigh, North Carolina, mother-in-law; Sharon Fenton of Topeka, sister-in-law; Linda Fenton of Ankara, Turkey and several nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2019 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. Cremation will follow the service and private inurnment will take place at a later date. Rob will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 22, 2019 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association 5375 SW. 7th St Topeka, KS 66606.
