Robert Dewynn Townsend Jordan, 21, of Topeka, passed away, Thursday, November 25, 2004 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
Robert was a 2002 graduate of Highland Park High School. He had atteneded Coffeyville Community College and was currently a sophomore at Seward County Community College in Liberal, Kansas.
He will lie in state after 12:00 noon Thursday at the Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel where the family will greet friends from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Thursday. Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 3, 2004 at the Highland Park United Methodist Church, 2914 SE Michigan, Topeka,KS. Burial will follow at Topeka Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the Robert Townsend Memorial Fund, c/o Commerce Bank and Trust, 3035 S. Topeka Blvd., Topeka, KS 66611.
