Roberta Jean Karlin, 63, Topeka, died Tuesday, November 16, 2004 at St. Francis Health Center.
She was born March 26, 1941 in Satanta, Kansas, the daughter of Otto and Maxine Snyder Moody. She graduated from Satanta High School, received a BS Degree from Ft. Hays State College, and a Masters Degree from Central Michigan University.
Mrs. Karlin was the administrator of the laboratory at St. Francis Hospital for over 15 years, and later was regional manager for Upjohn Health Care Services.
She was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church.
She married Ron Karlin in 1961 at Hays, Kansas. He survives. Other survivors include three sons, Michael Karlin, Timothy Karlin, and Christopher Karlin, and a daughter, Tiffany Faulkner, all of Topeka; two sisters, Margaret Hart, Ontario, OR, and Kay Forsythe, Sedalia, MO; two brothers, Robert Moody, Mountain Home, AR, and James Moody, address unknown, and 5 grandchildren.
Cremation is planned. A graveside inurnment service will be held at 10:00 am Friday at Penwell-Gabel's Memorial Park Cemetery.
