Robin Schoen, 43, of Topeka, KS left us suddenly June 14, 2017 as a result of a blood clot. She was born October 6, 1973 to Robert and Darlene Hahn. She is survived by her husband, Robert Schoen, son Jared Kerr from previous marriage to James Kerr, four step-daughters; Jessica Schmidt, Jennifer, Bobbi Jo and Katie Schoen, a grandson, Beau Schmidt, a sister, Dena Phillips and husband Kyle, two nieces; Jade Phillips and Cortlin Kerr, nephew Tyler Phillips, and many cousins, aunts and uncles, numerous good friends and coworkers.
She attended Holton schools, where she graduated in 1992. She then attended college at Johnson County and Washburn. She spent her final 22 years working at the VA Hospital.
Robin was a kind and generous friend to all. She was always the first person to step in and help. Her main priority in life was her son, Jared. She loved spending time with family and friends, cooking for them and bringing them joy and laughter. She was a one of a kind person, always wanting to get together with her many great friends or plan something fun. She loved watching her son play football and riding motorcycles with her husband and close friends. She will be greatly missed by all.
We will have a Celebration of Life for Robin on June 24, 2017 from 1:30 – 4:00 pm at the Goodyear Shelter House, NW 25th & Indianola, Topeka KS, 66618. Food will be provided by friends.
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jared Kerr Educational Fund at Core First Bank, Topeka, KS.
