Ron L. Marsh
November 8, 1940 — July 11, 2017
Ron L. "Ronnie" Marsh, 76, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at a local hospital.
He was born on November 8, 1940 in Oklahoma to Clifford and Maxine (Hodges) Marsh.
Ron graduated from Topeka High School, and went on to attend Washburn University.
He married Linda Cox in 1974.
Ron's favorite things were spending time with "His Girls", watching OU Football, arguing politics, sitting with his three chihuahua's (three dog night), watching his youngest granddaughter play basketball, and listening to his oldest granddaughter play the guitar (even though she wouldn't play Beatles music.)
He is survived by wife, Linda Marsh, of Topeka; a daughter, Megan Marsh (Nic Dawson), of Topeka; a son Blake Marsh, of Topeka; "His Girls," Ciara and Elaina Burns, both of Topeka; as well as extended family, Donna Garrett, Linda Cox, Richard Cox, Cathy Ottens, Carolyn Cox, and Darrell Cox.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 14, 2017 at the Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Road, Topeka.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Penwell-Gabel Southwest Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
