Ronald Eugene Flowers

Ronald Eugene Flowers, 55, of Topeka, passed away August 10, 2014 peacefully at home after a long illness. He was born on July 29, 1959 at Topeka to Wayne E. and Lottie E. (Needham) Flowers.
He grew up in California and graduated from Encinal High School, Alameda, California. He married Jacqueline Brase on August 26, 2012 at Honolulu, Hawaii. He was employed by Payless Shoes Distribution for 35 years as a forklift driver. He was a member of ABATE of Kansas. He owned Flowers Racing Team and enjoyed motorcycle riding.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie; step-son Timothy Brase; his sister Roberta Flowers; two brothers, Robert Flowers and James Flowers (Sandy); his grandson Jaxson Brase; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Lottie Flowers..
A Celebration of Life will be held August 17, 2014 at 1:00 p.m at Capital City KOA Campground, 1949 SW 49th (access only from Burlingame Rd.) Inurnment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Kaw Valley Bank, 1110 N. Kansas Ave. Topeka, KS 66608
