Ronald "Ronnie" D. James, Sr. of Topeka, passed away March 1, 2013. He was born Nov. 27, 1962 to Jack D. and Wilma Jean McKibben James. He grew up with a total of 13 siblings (two sisters, one brother, and 10 half siblings) in Oklahoma. He was born at Enid, Oklahoma and was proud to be an "Okie" no matter where he went.
He was employed 21 years by Frito-Lay as a heavy machine operator.
He enjoyed photography, architecture, astronomy, and his grandchildren.
He is survived by his son, Ronald D. James, Jr. of Enid, OK; grandchildren, Autumn and Dorian; his brother Jack James, Jr., his sisters, Angela Trout, and LaDonna Harris; and many nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 7 at Dove Cremation & Funeral Service at 3:00 pm. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
