Rosalie Marie Amis

Rosalie Marie Amis, 89, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022.
She was born February 14, 1933, in Osage City, Kansas, the daughter of George T. and Mabel E. (Adolphson) Ohlsson. She graduated from Osage City High School.
Rosalie was a loving homemaker.
Ms. Amis was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Michael Amis (Victoria) of Topeka, Gilbert Amis of Topeka, and Kirk Amis of Topeka; grandchildren Adam and Megan (Daniel) Amis; great-grandchildren Aiden Amis and Augustine Gomez; sister Nancy Liskey (Craig) and sister-in-law Helen Ohlsson. She was preceded in death by her parents; former husband George Amis; and her brothers Billy and Eddie Ohlsson.
Rosalie was a loving follower of Christ. She was an artist, loved to paint, enjoyed upholstery and working in her flower garden.
One of Rose's fondest memories was her trip to Sweden to discover her father's homeland and to connect with her Swedish family.
Rosalie was cremated. A private graveside ceremony will be at Union Cemetery in Osage City. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Northeast Kansas Parkinson Association, PO Box 67342, Topeka, KS 66667-0342.
