Rosalie Jenkins

Rosalie Jenkins, 75, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, May 2, 2011 at a Rossville care facility. She was born September 14, 1935 in Chanute, the daughter of Vernal and Dorothy Beyers Crabtree.

She graduated from Chanute High School and resided there until moving to Topeka in 1961. She was employed as a Lab Technologist for KNI and Topeka State Hospital before retiring.

Rosalie married Robert L. Jenkins. He preceded her in death in December, 1999. Survivors include three sons, Robert David Jenkins, Lee Douglas Jenkins and Michael Dwayne Jenkins, five grandchildren, Shawntelle, Michael, Lucrecia, Levi and Jason and her two siblings, Katie DeNoon and Charlie Crabtree.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Memorial contributions may be given to Rossville Healthcare & Rehabilitation, 600 E. Perry, Rossville, Kansas 66533 or Grace Hospice, 3715 S.W. 29th St., Ste. 100, Topeka, Kansas 66614.
