Rose Anne Bernhardt, 82, Topeka, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at Midland Hospice House.
Rose was born October 3, 1935 in Pomona, the daughter of Jacob and Mary (Camphell) Wismer. She attended schools in Carbondale.
She was employed at C & W Market, retiring in 1990.
She was a former member of the German-American Club
.
Rose married Ralph Bernhardt on May 16, 1952 in Lawrence. Her husband of 65 years survives. Other survivors include their children, Patricia (Joe) Desch, Topeka, Larry (Tammy) Bernhardt, Overland Park, Gary (Jean) Bernhardt, Lenexa; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Lillian Hankeson. She was preceded in death by sons, James and Nicky Bernhardt; and her twin sister, Ruth Towne.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
