Rose E. Williams, 76, of Hoyt, Kansas, formerly of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024. She was born June 5, 1948 in Wetmore, Kansas, the daughter of Robert and Regina (Welch) Keehn, Sr.
Rose graduated from Goff High School and earned an Associate Degree in Business. Rose was a Navy Veteran. She was employed as a Data Entry Specialist for Raytheon for many years before retiring in 2003. She was of the Catholic Faith.
Rose married John Williams. He preceded her in death on January 9, 2017. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Maryellen Fulkerson.
Survivors include two sons, Lewis Williams of Hoyt, Kansas, John P. Williams II, of Seymour, Missouri, six grandchildren, four and a half great-grandchildren and her seven siblings.
A private Celebration of Rose's Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place in Hoyt Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 or NE Kansas Toys For Tots, 7116 SE Forbes Ave., Topeka, Kansas 66619.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
